I spent the holidays in Texas this year and wanted to send a fun thank you card to some of the folks who showed me that “southern hospitality”!
I started with a free clip art outline of Texas and flipped it horizontally because I needed to use the black lines to cut the Washi Tape into the state Shape after the image was completely covered.
I cut out the Texas shape very loosely because I used the black lines on the other side to cut the shape exactly.
Next cover the Texas shape with lines of washi tape. When the shape is covered turn the paper over and use the black lines to cut the state shape.
The last step: Use FREE MAGAZINE FONT to spell out the message. I waited until I put the image into my card software to add the apostraphe.
