My friends and family usually expect to receive homemade gifts and this year is no exception. (This fun magnet set is slated for my daughter-in- law!) I purchased 24 Altoid-type tins and it seems ideas to alter them are ENDLESS!
My daughter-in-law texted me this set of photos the night my grandson lost his first tooth. They really tell a story of BEFORE AND AFTER!
I thought it would be fun to memorialize the day with a set of flat glass marble Magnets.
Step One: Print out your faces approx. 1″.
Step Two: Clean the flat glass marbles with vinegar to remove any oil.
Step Three: Coat the back of the glass with E6000 Glue and press firmly on the photo to remove air bubbles.
Step Four: After the glue is fully dry, remove excess paper close to the back of the glass marble with scissors, cutting as close to the bottom of the marble as possible.
Step Five: Use hot glue to attach a magnet to each back.
Step Six: Download free printable altoid pdf.
Step Seven: Use Mod Podge to adhere the top piece on the tin lid.
Step Eight: Use Glue Stick to attach inside pieces and cut out the Mommy Magnets to attach to the top lid with glue stick.
Step Nine: Decorate the outside edges with washi tape or ribbon.
Fill the inside with the magnets!
