So what the heck? Which of these fishing lines are the strongest? Which of these fishing lines are the best? And how in the world are you supposed to know which one to pick? Trying to do this on your own, especially if you new to fishing, can be really frustrating.
That’s exactly why I wanted to put together this quick post…to help eliminate as much of the “fishing line chaos” as possible. I wanted to share with you what I’ve found to be the best all around fishing line. And to me what that means is, for the money, which fishing line is:

- Easiest to use
- Has low memory and
- Is low stretch
So let’s get right to it. Which fishing line is the best all around fishing line? After experimenting with many different types of fishing line over the years, and fishing for many different species of fish with both spinning reels and baitcaster reels, in both saltwater and freshwater, I’ve decided that the best all around fishing line is Power Pro Spectra Fiber Braided Fishing Line and Sufix Elite Hi-Vis Yellow Fishing Line.

Braided line not for you? I get it. It took me a while to get used to using braid as my all around go to fishing line. In my opinion, these are the two strongest fishing lines that also happen to be the best all around fishing line. And as such, the lines I’ve chosen are not the end all and be all.
