It’s the first full week of September and I’ve gone with a Lovely Emerald Colour for my weekly spread. I think it fits the mood I associate with September – forest, nature and the very end of summer. Everything is alive and wonderful and it’s my birthday month, so why shouldn’t it have my favourite colour in it?

But as always, I start with the lines.

I love the way this looks, and one day, I might leave the colour and go with a week of minimalist line work, but not this week.

As you can see, I’ve omitted my challenge tracker since I’m not doing one this month, which has left me with a bit more space of taller headers in the side bar, which I like. I’m keeping the meal plan again – it works very well for us.

As I mentioned, the colour this month is a lovely emerald from Faber Castell. It makes me think of deep forests and moss and trickling streams. I just love it.
