Geocache: Bird house #4

So far the coolest Bird House, high up in the tree and a magnet is what you needed on the end of a stick, a long stick.

The birdhouse with the magnet attached to the geocche
As it might look simple it is if you have all the tools you need. The hint was clear you need a long enough stick with a magnet at the end. Of course we have one of those telescopic ones, but that is less than a meter long, so it is time to improvise.

The geocache from below, hiding in the birdhouse
We also have a magnet on a rope, where the rope is at least a few meters long, so that will do, but how do you get it up to the bird house? It is in the woods, and many broken branches are all around on the ground, so I just picked a longer one and attached my magnet with its rope to it and we had the tool we needed.

A closer picture of the bird house
As you can see it is a small bison capsule in the bottom of the bird house what needs to be pulled down.

See the container?
When we found this geocache I was waiting for a new magnet to arrive I ordered before, this one was good enough, but not good enough for one of my own hides, that requires a lot stronger one to pull out of its hiding place.

The geocache arrived to me
This is another hide I need to make one and hide on my hiding area. It is also one of those geocaches where I had to give a FAVO for the hide. My general rule for handing out favos is any cool hides I give one, any new ways of hiding I give one and any new technics implemented in the container, log or just any fun in it I also give one.

The forest hiding the geocache
This geocache can be found in Belgium and it is a part of a serie, many of the hides deserved a FAVO in this serie for one or other reason. As I hide geocaches myself I know how much effort is needed to design the geocaches, to find the place to hide them, to maintain them and to repair them when they get muggled, damaged, etc.

The geocache up in the tree
Finally here is another picture of the geocache up in the tree so that you can see that at least a two meter long stick was very useful. Isn't it fun how this game improves your improvising skills? If I did not find a long enough stick I had enough rope to tie two sticks together, etc.
