Geocache: Headache at the ruin

When you are in a foreign country Searching for a Geocache the worst could happen to you is you cannot find, you are not aware of all local law, not sure where you might enter end where not. Searching can take a while even when the difficulty is set to low.

The geocache is just hanging in there
If you look at the picture of the geocache while it is just hanging there waiting to be found you would say why is it so difficult? It is not, a nice fishing line is holding the film canister in place, all dirt and building materials below, rusty steel here and there.

The geocache is out taking a sunbath
Not sure what the original purpose of this building was, but now it is more of a Ruin than in use. We were already searching for a few minutes or maybe over 15 when the man living really close by just walked towards us. He had a big smile on his face, that got rid of all of our headaches, he knew what we were up to, maybe he put it there?

As he got closer he told us it is not in the ditch nor on any of the signs, it is in the ruin, and most geocachers spend a lots of time searching there, and many even leave without a smiley on the map. So he pointed towards the ruin and told look into the windows. As soon as we got that info, we knew there must be something hanging in there.

The ruin
As you can see the windows are really tiny, our head could barely fit in there, of course we did not look inside at the first try, and as you can see on the first photo I took of the hanging geocache, I made it with just sticking my hand in there and took the shot.

This geocache was part of a serie in Belgium. As we were just travelling home and made some detour due to the busy traffic on the highways and to add some more stops to the trip we did not finish the full serie, maybe one other day. Most of the geocaches on the serie was great hides some I saw before online as the idea but never out in the wild a real one before, and some were new to us.

Many thanks for the CO for this hide.
