Geocache: Light post hide

Light posts, US, what's next? Under the skirt? That is what my first guess was, and I was wrong. After an hour in a taxi to the airport then going through all steps to get to the airplane, flying for over 8 hours and finally in Detroit? Going through the border control, then picking up the checked in bag, and quickly dropping it off. What to do? Ok, I was fully prepared this time, offline map, walking distance geocaches saved and updated yesterday evening. So let's try to find a transportation to a location where with some walk I can pick a few geocaches.

The geocache on the light post
To be honest, maybe it is also called skirt, or maybe I could just call it a mini skirt. It was a quick find, which gave me some happiness and the motivation to go for the next one, only 1.8kms away, if I could go straight, and of course I could not, so over 2 kms to get to that.

A closer picture of the geocache on my tablet.
I got a tablet from my wife, and I decided to use that when I'm out of the Netherlands and use it to play geocaching, navigate, social media, etc. It can take a sim card as well, but I could not find any at the airport, they said there is a place inside the airport where I can buy one... I was so happy, but of course I did not go in and then come out, and then do geocaching and then back... could look suspicious.
A pine tree hiding the light post.
My first idea was to get to a Walmart they must have mobile internet for tourists, I bought it there before, so I wanted to find a taxi, but there was none in the area, I asked multiple guys they pointed to some place where I did not find any taxis, so kept on walking and then there was a bus, the driver was smoking a cigarette, so I asked him showing my map, which way was he heading... Lucky for me he was on route to this geocache, and it cost only 2 dollars, it is important as I was hoping to get a same transportation on the way back, but that did not work out too good, read about it in a later post.

Mini skirt?
In the description the CO was mentioning the parking lot is all a mess, not sure what he referred to, maybe the non connected parts? For sure for my bad luck there was a car parking just next to the geocache, why not? There was no one in the car, so it helped, but why would someone part the furthest away from all the stores in the area? I used to do that back in the days when I had to drop a few kilos, maybe same reason? So a quick find, log, taking pictures and running into some stores to check if I could get online. Of course no one sells mobile internet, not the filling station and for my surprise not a mobile phone selling company. In the Netherlands you can get a cheap internet at any corner... really strange ...

A wider picture of the hide.
I never saw this container before, I need to figure out what it is called and what it is used for, so I could find it and get some for my hides, adding a small magnet to it and done.

A car parking next to the geocache.
You see? One car in the parking and that is next to the geocache. Why? I really have no idea, but this is what it is... When I took this picture there was already someone in the car, I already signed and put it back, just checked a few stores, and started my painful walk to the next geocaches.

Many thanks for the CO for this hide, this was my first in Michigan, got a new souvenir for this find.
