Geocache: Abandoned filling station

Some time ago I started to place geocaches at locations where you can find an abandoned building. The main idea was to get as many pictures as possible to follow how those buildings are taken over by nature and over time if not maintained they'll vanish.

See the geocache?
This hide is at a filling station, most probably went out of business as there is another one close by on the other side of the road where more traffic stops. First I placed a different hide at this location, but due to the homeless people lodging in front of the filling station that went missing, then I decided to put a bigger one at a better place.

This is the inside of the geocache.
I found this perfect container in a hardware store in Taiwan, over there this is used to cover up outlets on the wall when there is nothing to be connected in them. Similar ones made out of different material you can find in different countries, that is why I brought this over to Hungary to hide, there as this is a foreign thing most people will leave it alone and think it is part of the construction it is attached to by some strong magnets.

The filling station in June 2017.
As you can see the filling station is not yet in a really bad shape, but give it a few more years if left unmaintained. It would be cool if someone from that area would share some pictures made when it was still in use.

One of those has the container.
I have to say that at some location nanos, pill capsules and petlings are gone in no time, somehow they are muggled or damaged by maintenance in the neighborhood, but when I replace them with a bigger container they are not going anywhere. When I started hiding I was so afraid that bigger containers might be subject of discovery by muggles easier, but it is not the case, since this upgrade I upgraded some other containers to bigger ones in the area.

Happy geocaching.
