Geocache: Behind the fence

Another sunny day in the Netherlands, you cannot skip these days they are not so common as in some other places. We got our foldable bicycles into the trunk of the car and on the way to a serie in some nice relaxed area with lots of nature.

A petling behind the fence.
This serie was placed with bigger distances between the geocaches, which is not the best if you are after statistics, but which is also no problem if you just want to enjoy an afternoon out in fresh air. This is what we were up to, get out of the house find some geocaches take some cool pictures.

Parking
It is cool when they create parking for the bicycles which reminds me the wild west with horse parking. As you can see our easy to fold geocaching bicycle parked, this is what we ended up using the most often. We do (did) have bigger bicycles, I sold mine, and we also have the bicycle holder for the hook on the car, but moounting that placing the bicycles on it and then getting them on putting back, getting all off when arriving home is just too much work to do, so that is why we ended up with the foldables.

A place to sit down and log the find.
It is really nice that here in the Netherlands they maintain these recreational areas cut the grass regularly, so even if you are not after geocaches you still can just cycle around stop at one of these places and have a chat with others or have some drinks or bites. At another place we met two elderly ladies but they knew about the game, so we didn't have to worry about them to be muggles.

Geocache upside down.
Petlings or PET preforms in the whole Europe is a common hiding technic, we saw many different sizes, shapes, colors. Recently I managed to find a source to get some for myself. Since then I can imagine this has unlimited variations in shapes, sizes, colors ... soon you'll come across some of mine somewhere out there.

The fence.
When I first arrived to the Netherlands I was surprised that they have no long fences, mostly a gate at the end of the land, but if you look around each piece of land is surrounded with water, so no need, and all the animals placed on the land can have a drink when they want.

The water between the lands.
Lots of bright colors today with such a sunny day here, this day was just so fun being out. Me with my sensitive skin gets burned really fast survived this pretty good.

Many thanks for the CO for hiding and maintaining this serie. Looking forward for a next one.
