Snack On - Parmesan Bread Sticks with Red Sauce



This is seriously the easiest recipe in the entire world, and you’ll kick yourself for not doing it sooner. Honest – easy, tasty and fast to make.

PARMESAN Bread Sticks with RED SAUCE
Grated parmesan cheese
Olive oil
Salt & pepper

2 cups ready made marinara sauce
1/3 c red wine
¼ c chopped red onion
¼ c chopped Italian parsley
1 garlic clove minced – ok to use a garlic press for this

  • Pre-heat oven to 350’F
  • Bring dough out of fridge and bring to room temperature
  • When dough is ready, divide dough in half, roll out one part on a slightly floured surface
  • Slice into 1” slices
  • Place slices on a greased baking sheet
  • Roll out second half of dough and repeat procedure
  • Brush Bread sticks with olive oil
  • Sprinkle with fresh grated parmesan cheese, salt & pepper
  • Bake 10 minutes or until bread sticks are golden and cooked through
  • While bread sticks are cooking, heat marinara sauce in a small sauce pot
  • Add red wine, chopped red onion, Italian parsley and garlic
  • Stir to combine, salt & pepper to taste
  • When bread sticks are done, remove from oven and let cool slightly on a rack
  • Serve with a dish of warm marinara sauce
  • Enjoy
