Spinach Pizza Rolls

Tags: dough pizza dairy

These were always a big hit when the kid was little. Here's my new allergy friendly take on the same menu. Feel free to play around with the base and add your own favorite toppings, sauce and or cheese! Mmmm Pizza.

SPINACH PIZZA ROLLS
1 package ready-made pizza Dough or if you have time make your own
1/2 cup pizza/spaghetti sauce (whatever your favorite flavor is)
1/2 cup shredded Dairy free mozzarella
1 cup fresh baby spinach leaves
2 tbsp. dry Italian spices (optional)
1 tbsp. grated garlic (optional)
1/4 cup dairy free Parmesan cheese (did you see my post the other day on my new favorite brand?)
  • Heat oven to 400’F
  • Roll dough flat, spread pizza sauce on top, sprinkle optional garlic & Italian spices
  • Top with shredded dairy free mozzarella, and layer on the spinach leaves
  • Roll dough into a tube
  • Slice into 1" thick slices
  • Grease casserole dish - place rolls of dough side by side, cut side up, in dish
  • Sprinkle with dairy free Parmesan cheese
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and cheese is melted
  • Let cool and pull apart to eat
