The Czech National Chess Championship 2022 took place from 14-22 May 2022 in Usti nad Labem. The best rated Czech player, GM David Navara, won the tournament to become Czech National Chess Champion for the 11th time in his career.

Navara scored 7/9 points to be the sole winner of the tournament. The Czech Champion in 1993 and 2008 GM Vlastimil Babula and GM Jan Krejci tied for the second place with 6.5/9 points each. Tiebreaks criteria were in favor of Vlastimil Babula who claimed silver, while Jan Krejci won bronze. Replay the games here

The event gathered 48 players competing in 9 rounds, swiss system. Time control of the event is 90 minutes for 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. All information about the event
