The Slovak Youth Chess Championships 2022 take place from 21–28 May 2022 in Ľubovnianske kúpele. The event is played in 6 age categories: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 & U18, open and girls sections separately.

Each category is played in 9 rounds, swiss system, with round-robin system in the sections with less than 11 Participants. More than 180 kids fight for the trophy with the winners qualifying for the European Youth Chess Championship 2022 and FIDE World Cadets and Youth Chess Championships 2022.
