FIDE Congress and General Assembly will be held simultaneously with the 44th Chess Olympiad 2022 in Chennai, India between 31 July 2022 and 09 August. This year, the Fide Congress includes FIDE elections which will be completed on 7-8 August.

The actual FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich spoke in April about his intention to run for reelection, and today officially announced his team for the second term:
