As we posted the previous article, we will be launched a new product “FABOOL Dust Collector” for FABOOL Laser Mini in October. (At this stage, we will sell it only in Japan)

Accordingly, this blog will be introducing this helpful product in two articles. This article will be explaining the outline and why it is necessary. Then next article will be introducing how to use the machine.

What is FABOOL Dust Collector?

First of all, FABOOL Dust Collector is only for FABOOL  Laser Mini, not for CO2. Of course both of  Mini models, 1.6W and 3.5W, can be fitted in it. Unfortunately, you cannot use Safety Cover and Frame Set for Expansion with FABOOL Dust Collector.

FABOOL Dust Collector has functions to suction smoke with a big fan, and reduce the smell that comes out during cutting and engraving by the exhaust system including a dust collecting filter and activated charcoal filter. Those filters are cartridge type, so you can easily do maintenance.Although the name is “Dust Collector”, the main purpose is to decrease smoke and smell because usually any dust do not come out during the laser cutting and engraving.

Best for people who mind disgusting smell

The reason why this dust collector is necessary for people is that simply laser cutting and engraving have a possibility of making smoke and bad smell depending on materials. Probably it is easy to understand for the people who have used a laser cutter like FABOOL Laser Mini.

Our company has been recommending to use Safety Cover for laser cutter, but terrible smell still leaks somewhat. So FABOOL Dust Collector is much more helpful than that. To be honest, it cannot eliminate the smell 100%, but it can nearly get rid of the smell through the filters.

This product is the best for the people who often cut and engrave materials which come out awful smell such as leather craft, acrylic, and gum. Also it is the best for the people whose work space cannot be ventilated.
