  Selection Process in UPSEE 2015

  Candidates would be admitted to colleges as per their marks in the exam and thereafter their rank. Higher the rank, lower the chances of getting admission into the desired course and college.

  Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE 2015

  Before proceeding to apply for the exam, candidates must read the UPSEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria to see if they able to participate in the exam or not. Following are the terms:
  • A candidate must have passed class XII exam from a recognized state or national education board.
  • He must have a minimum score of 45% (general) which is 40% for SC/ST candidates.
  • He must have physics and math as compulsory subjects with any of the Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology as optional.

    Application Form of UPSEE 2015

    To apply for the exam, candidates have to submit an Application form. The form can be filled in either offline mode or online mode. UPSEE 2015 Application Form requires providing information about personal details, educational qualification, communication address and number. Two modes are here as follows:
    • Online: Access official UPTU website, fill the form and send the final confirmation page to the university.
    • Offline: Visit any UPTU help desk center, fill the application form and send the confirmation page to the university.

    UPSEE 2015 Application Fees
    • General and OBC category: Rs.1000
    • SC/ST Applicants/Women applicants: Rs.500.
    • You can pay the fees via PNB Challan or credit/debit card.
    Admit Card of UPSEE 2015
    Candidates would be sent the UPSEE 2015 Hall Ticket via post. Additionally, it will be put up for download on the official website of UPTU. It is necessary to bring the hall ticket to the exam center to gain entry and attempt the exam. Also, it is suggested to keep it safe till the admission process ends.

    Exam Pattern of UPSEE 2015

    Every candidate must read the exam pattern to know the various features of exam and question paper. Following is the UPSEE 2015 Exam Pattern for candidates to read:
    • Total number of questions in the exam – 150.
    • Questions shall be asked from Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
    • Equal weightage to each section/subject.
    • Candidates interested in Biotech Engineering have to attempt Paper 2.
    • 4 marks shall be given for correct answer.
    • No negative marking.

      Result of UPSEE 2015

      Candidates can check the result of examination on the official website of UPTU 2015. They can see their result by entering application number, roll number and other such details. As per the UPSEE 2015 Result, they will be issued a rank and featured in the merit list. Based on this rank, they would be called for counselling and allotment process.

      Counselling of UPSEE 2015

      • UPTU will conduct the counselling in May 2015.
      • Thereafter, visit any document verification centre to exercise options.
      • Download the counselling letter, and take it along with necessary documents and certificates.
      • Candidates would be able to mark options of colleges and courses in the UPSEE 2015 Counselling.
      • The counselling will be held online centrally.

        Online UPSEE 2015 Application Form

        • The form would be released in March 2015.
        • Candidates have to fill the application on the official website of UPSEE or UPTU.
        • Various facilitation centers will be set up by UPTU to assist candidates to fill the UPSEE 2015 Web Based Application.
        • List of these centers would be posted on the site as well.
        • After filling the form, they have to press review button for inspection.
        • On filling of the form, a unique registration number will be given to the candidate.
        • After form is filled and payment is done, they are required to generate printout of the application form.
        • It is thereafter necessary to put signature, recent colored passport photo (black and white) and thumb impression on the form.

          UPSEE 2015 Application Form – Fees Payment Modes

          Bank Challan

          • Access the official website of UPTU and download the bank challan.
          • Fee details would be mentioned on the challan itself.
          • Deposit the challan at bank and get a receipt countersigned.
          • Mention the challan number at challan.
          • Confirm the UPSEE 2015 Application Form submission on the official website.
          • Enter the registration number, transaction number and download the confirmation pag.

            Offline UPSEE 2015 Application Form

            • Candidates can fill the offline application in physical form.
            • They have to use only black or blue ball-point pen for the same.
            • Afterwards they have to send the form to the university before deadline.
            • Candidates must not send any document with the UPSEE 2015 Application Form.
            • To buy the application form, visit the head post offices of the state in the month of March 2015.
            • To buy the form, pay application form fee of Rs.1000 for General and OBC candidates (Rs.500 for SC, ST and women).
