Fond Memories of Jumbo, our adorable pet dog who passed away on this very same day, 25 years ago!

6th February 1999
This particular day was a really sad day for all of us at home and in our neighbourhood as well.
Jumbo, our Lovely Pet dog died after a brief spell of illness.
He was such a passionate guardian of his territory that robbers would have thought a hundred times before even thinking of stepping anywhere near our neighbourhood! Added, his bark was so powerful, that it would have given all the evil-intentioners in the vicinity a run for their money!

Such was his way and his sway with all of us at home and in our neighbourhood as well!
Even one of our neighbours had suspected that, it must have been the handiwork of someone who wanted to trespass into the area for nefarious reasons.
The news was so devastating for all of us. Added, while jotting down this diary entry, tears spontaneously welled up! 😢
Such is the sway of our Lovely pets in our lives, ain’t it?
Indeed, dogs are such cute sentient beings, capable of forming such deep bonds with us.
The way they experience and exhibit all the navarasas is way beyond amazing!
In short, our lovely pet dogs – are not only sentient beings but sentimental beings as well!
