BE Eligibility Criteria at BMSIT Bangalore Direct Admission

The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. The Candidate should have secured not less that 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering.

The candidates satisfying the above criterion can apply through

1. KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), Diploma CET (KEA) | AICTE J&K.
2. COMEDK (Consortium Of Medical Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka).
3. Management Quota: The admission under management quota is processed in the office of the BMS Educational Trust. The Council of Trustees decide the tuition fee for various courses under management quota and seats are allotted by the Chief of the Admission Committee. The BMS Educational Trust advertises regarding the admission and the application forms are issued to the aspirants in the month of June / July of every year.

CET Quota:

1. Admission Order issued by KEA ( 04 Copies)
2. SSLC / 10TH Marks Card [ for proof of Date of Birth]
3. II PUC / 12TH Marks Card
4. Study Certificate from previous College/Institute (Total 07 Years)
5. Caste Certificate in case of Reserved Category [ i.e., SC, ST & OBC ] and students admitted under S N Q Quota are required to submitted Income Certificate compulsorily.

7. Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka students and students who have passed their qualifying examination other than PU Board.
8. Students allotted under SPECIAL CATEGORY QUOTA (i.e., Rural, Kannada Medium, NCC, Sports, PH, Defence candidates etc.,) are required to submit the relevant original certificates & students admitted under Hyderabad Karnataka Quota, are required to submit the relevant original certificates. [ Annexure – “A’’ – Eligibility Certificate & Annexure – “B’’ – Residience Certificate.
9. Recent Photos – 02 Nos. (Passport Size)
10. Copy of AADHAAR CARD and any other documents if required.
11. Students are required to scan all the above original documents along with Passport Size Photo and Signature individually in JPEG format only & size should be less than 2MB [ with 200 DPI resolution] and need to be submitted in the form of soft copy compulsorily in a pen drive.

COMED-K Quota:

1. Seat Allotment Letter issued by Comed-K along with Fee receipt(04 Copies)
   For Management Seats:
   Provisional seat allotment letter issued by Management along with fee receipt. (04 Copies)
   Please ensure that the candidate name and parent name should be printed as per SSLC / 10th marks card.
2. SSLC / 10TH Marks Card [ for proof of Date of Birth]
3. II PUC / 12TH Marks Card
4. Study Certificate from previous College/Institute & Caste Certificate in respect of students having score less that 45% in qualifying examination
5. Transfer Certificate
6. Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka students and students who have passed their qualifying examination other than PU Board.
7. Students allotted through Comed-K under Hyderabad Karnataka Quota, are required to submit the relevant original certificates. [ Annexure – “A’’ – Eligibility Certificate & Annexure – “B’’ – Residience Certificate
8. Rank Card of any one of the Competitive Examination i.e, CET / Comed-K / JEE of Current Year (i.e., 2023-24) in respect of Management Quota only.
9. Recent Photos – 02 Nos. (Passport Size)
