Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal came into existence in the year 1957 and was considered as one of the 1st self-financing private engineering colleges in the nation. It went on growing and improving as the years went on and became one of the known institutions in the state of Karnataka. Later in the year 2000, it became an institute under the Manipal University which was known as Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in the earlier days. Manipal Institute of Technology offers a bachelor’s as well as a master’s program in the field of engineering. It supports branches like Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. Along with this it also allows the carryout of part-time or full-time research work for the students in the institute. The duration for post-graduate qualification Ph.D. for the students is 3 years which is full-time, and for part-time is four years. For the students with an M Phil degree, there is one year of relaxation for the applicants.

Btech Direct Admission MIT Manipal Direct Admission 2024
Admission to Manipal Institute of Technology can be attained through Manipal University- Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) and is carried out at centers across India.
It is a computer-based exam and consists of 200 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and logical reasoning and spans for a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
MAHE offers three chances for a student to take up the entrance exam subjected to additional payment and availability of vacancies.
Unlike other entrance exams, the score for your performance in the online based test will be displayed immediately after the exam ends depending on which you will be eligible to appear for counselling.
