Koreans are known for their pursuit of beauty. They have developed a lot of products to cater different aesthetic needs. Beauty shops are like mushrooms in South Korea. They are found everywhere.
This time, I’m going to review a Korean product. It’s from the Wonder Pore line of Etude House. It’s called Wonder Pore Freshner.
What it’s supposed to do:
- Restores skin’s pH level
- Improves skin tone
- Maintains pore elasticity
- Get rids of dead skin cells
- Cleans pores
- Lessens pore appearance
- Controls sebum production
- Moisturizes
- Smooths skin
- Gives cooling effect
How to use:
- After washing your face, dispense product onto a cotton pad then apply on the face in a circular motion.
Natural ingredients:
- Sugar Cane
- Orange
- Ginkgo Biloba
- Bilberry
- Sugar Maple
Price: I got mine for $18 but their website retails them for $8.19
Other information:
- Korean product
- Made of Anti Pore-Dex Complex (ingredients for intensive pore care)
- Liquid
My opinion:
I am on my second bottle now and I really love the product. I use this as a toner after I cleanse my face and before applying moisturizer. It gives a cooling effect which helps me relax. I can’t really say that it cleans pores deeply because while using the product, I still have white heads developing especially on my nose. I have to use nose strips to remove them. Good thing is I never break out using this product. The product has an alcoholic scent too but I don’t mind because I kind of love it. The sebum prevention doesn’t last all day because at the end of the day, I end up with an oily face.
Pros:
- Has a cooling effect
- Acts as a good toner
- Gentle on skin
- Contains natural products
- Doesn’t cause pimples
- Softens skin
Cons:
- Doesn’t totally clean pores
- Scented
- Expensive
- Oil control doesn’t last long
There you go! I hope you find this helpful! :)
