We’re halfway there, just passed Toledo, Ohio! The journey is uncomfortable because I’m with friends and family which includes a stereotypically bratty, fussy, grown man who’s in a snit and making sure everyone is stressed!

We have seen a lot of Road work, a crazy amount that had us at a crawl down I-80 for over an hour and there is more coming up. The trip shouldn’t be taking this long but c’est la vie, it happens.

We have also seen some beautiful countryside, although it all more or less looks the same going East, not like the stark changes you see going west.

I’m anxious to get to the coast, though. Even with the hard times we’re having fun and trying to make good time.
