Skin around the eyes is very delicate and thinner as compared to other parts of the body. Dark circles are black or dark area under your eyes. Dark circles appeared due to insufficient sleep, stress, aging, seeing television, playing video games, allergies, dry skin and unhealthy diet plan etc.
Following are some home remedies to lighten the dark circles of the eyes:

Cucumber Slices

 

Cucumber is good and quick solution for removing the dark circles and it is the best skin toner. Cucumber has a cooling effect which helps to lighten the skin under the eyes.
  • Take a cucumber and cut into thick slices.
  • Put slices of cucumber in a fridge for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, take two slices of cucumber and place on your closed eyes.
  • Keep it for 10-15 minutes.
  • Rinse your face with cool water.
  • Continuously use this procedure daily for a week.

Raw Potato

 

Potato is one of the natural bleaching agents. It also help in lighted the skin around the eyes and reduce the puffiness effect of eyes.
  • Take a potato and cut it into slices.
  • Take potato slices and place them on closed eyes. Repeat this procedure
  • After 15 minutes wash your face with cool water.
  • Continuously use this procedure daily for a week.

Rose Water

Rose water is one of the best home remedy that lighten the dark circles. Regular usage of rose water has a great impact on your face it is not only acts as a natural soothing agent but it also lighten the skin tone.
  • Take 2 tables spoon rose water in a bowl.
  • Take cotton balls and soak in rose water for few minutes
  • Place these cotton balls on closed eyes
  • Leave it for 15 minutes
  • After 15 minute remove cotton balls and rinse face with cool water.

Apple

Apple is good for health and it also contain a tannic acid.  Tannic acid helps in lighten the skin tones.
  • Take an apple and cut it into slices.
  • Take apple slices and place them on closed eyes. Repeat this procedure
  • After 30 minutes rinse your face with cool water.
  • Regular use of this procedure will reduce the dark circles under the eyes.

Mint Leaves

Mint leaves have cooling effect which is also helpful in removing dark circles.

  • Take few mint leaves and crush them but not make a paste
  • Place this on the dark circle areas of the eyes
  • Leave for 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash the face with cool water.

Almond and Potato:

Take 3 to 4 almonds and grind them
  • Add few drops of lemon juice and 1 tea spoon grated potato and 1 tea spoon fresh cream.
  • Mix all ingredients well until form a paste.
  • Apply this mixture on the dark circles
  • Leave it for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse with cool water.
  • Cold Tea Bags
  • Soak two tea bags in water.
  • Place these tea bags in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Take them out and place on your eyes
Regular use of this remedy will defiantly reduce the dark circles


Vitamin E Oil   

  • Squeeze the vitamin E capsule and extract the oil
  • Apply this oil over dark circles of eyes.
  • Regular use of this will also reduce the dark colour under your eyes.

Frozen Spoon

  • Take a spoon and put it in a freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Take it out from the freezer.
  • Place it on the dark circles of the eyes until it gets warm

Avocado

  • Take an avocado and cut in thick slices.
  • Place two slices on closed eyes.
  • Leave for 10-15 minutes.
  • Wash your face with cool water

This home remedy will be helpful in lighten the dark circles of the eyes.


Castor Oil

  • Take 1 teaspoon castor oil and mix with 1 teaspoon milk cream.
  • Apply this mixture under the eye on dark circles.
  • Leave for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes rinse with cool water


Corn Flour

  • Take 1 teaspoon corn flour and 1 teaspoon yogurt in bowl
  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Apply this mixture on the dark areas.
  • Leave for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse with cool water.
