101 Wellness Tips for College Students by Rutgers

The Student Health Services devision at Rutgers put a fabulous list of “…Wellness and Health Tips for College Students” together. In fact, they put 101 tips together. What I love about the list is that they break it into groups so all of the tips on diet are posted next to each other. This allows the student to focus on one area and try to choose a couple of the items to work on within that group. When it comes to coaching a student into better wellness, this will be a great tool for any health coach. I will surely use it myself to help the student more easily prioritize their main area of concern and then they will have a whole list of ideas within that area that are broken down into small, obtainable steps. What a great resource!

The main categories are; Diet, Exercise, Sleep, Sexual Health, Illness, Stress, Mental Health and then a small group of Miscellaneous. Here is the article for you to view:

I remember just yesterday mentioning the influx in coaching the parents of College Students who have moved away as they adjust and this great resource came up today to remind me during this transition the college students are in need of health reminders and support as well.
