1. They are not DHT resistant
2. Their life cycle is much longer and therefore they take longer to grow.
3. Thirdly, and more importantly from a technical point of view, the area requires large amount of anesthesia for few grafts and shall need to be done over 2-3 days to avoid the risk of overdosage.
The best sources of hair for a body hair transplant are the following in descending order of preference-
1. Beard
2. Chest
3. Axilla
4. Pubis
