Always feel tired? Go to sleep

I know the title might have confused you a bit, but this is actually a fact. Short ‘power’ Naps, as they are called, actually help a lot in boosting Energy throughout the day. Although I won’t get into the technicalities here about why you always feel tired, I would like to state one of the factors that help in this regard. During sleeping, we are actually breathing very slowly and deeply. Have you ever noticed how babies manage to have so much energy during the day, probably because they sleep so much and don’t have anything else to do, right? But what you are ignoring out here is that their tender bodies, which couldn’t possible do even one-tenths of the work you can, are always so active. This is because during sleep, one tends to take in a lot of oxygen, which is basically what keeps us alive, but that’s not the point.

The point here is that when you take short naps during the day; your breathing automatically slows down, allowing you to take more oxygen, and consequently, your body to replenish itself resulting in you getting more energy as soon as you are awake. It’s not such a hard thing as well, as just a nap of 30 minutes can give you super-charged energy for up to a couple of hours. Think of it as a natural Gatorade, only this one comes free and is better than the bottled version!
