Today's topic was a no-brainer - quinoa! Quinoa - pronounced keen-wah - is an amazingly versatile food. It is loaded with nutrients - 8g protein, 39g carbohydrate (5g of which is fiber), and 4g fat in a one cup serving.
Quinoa is a relatively recent discovery for me on my journey to wellness. It is one of the recommended additions to The Maker's Diet during phase three and I really hadn't even heard of it prior to reading the book.
