Diabetic Life - Make Eye Temperature Lower before Sleep!

Advice on Diabetes - Make Eye Temperature Lower before Sleep!

Among diabetics, there are persons whose body temperature go up high or especially go up into the eyes and get their eyes bloodshot or hurt. Then, they are strongly advised to first lower their eye temperature by moving their bodies before going to bed.

In the case of mine, although the symptom of heat getting up into my eyes continues for 12 months a year, the symptom is serious especially between October and March. In order to lower the heat of the body and eyes, there are many times that I spend time with windows a little open even in winter.

The air to be cool and clean!
The floor to be worm!

Yet, this sleeping condition doesn’t solve the already reddened and sore eyes.

If I introduce the ways I can do easily, it is: After smoothening the blood circulation by rubbing the muscles on the face with hands and then after lowering the eye fever by massaging softly the space around the eyes, there is many a time when I play dances in the state where the lights around are off, so that the stiffness of my reddened and sore eyes may be eased.
(When I take a look at news on TV, there are many times when I just hear the news without watching the screen. And when I dance so as to lower the heat of the eyes, there are many times when I rely only upon the light coming out of the TV for the sake of the whole lighting.) Even when I dance, in order to lower the heat of the upper body, I ease my body softly for about 30 minutes ‘in a state as half-naked’ as I could.

If I introduce any exercise you can do lightly in a narrow space without getting bored before going to bed during more than half amount among 365 days a year, I would like to say there is nothing more than soft dancing that brings model’s walking together.
(Anyone who might have seen my dance motions and my physique through the motion pictures on my homepage will be quick to understand, I guess!)

In order to protect my joints, I have to live keeping the floor warm. If I live in an apartment, this condition is impossible to keep. So I turn on the electric blanket for more than about 11 months out of a year. (The writings in the 1st edition are the ones about my bodily conditions till the year 2003. From the year 2004 where my kidneys and eyes got more vulnerable and weaker, I was unable to use an electric blanket or electric cushion or the like. These are the characteristics of a ‘progressive chronic disease’ and the dreadful points of diabetes.)

Yet, as time goes by, because the heat of electric blanket that I use for the joints and muscles even affects my eyes and kidneys, I am turning into the body that is unable to use even electric appliances at my will. Due to the heat coming from electric appliances, I every now and then experience the symptom that the functions of the eyes and kidneys are going worse.

Even though I many times used the expression, ‘as time goes by,’ I have no other choice yet, so that I could let other diabetics and their families understand what things are.

Because the other body parts like eyes, kidneys, heart,..too go more vulnerable, weaker, worse and more ruined as time goes by, it is often that there are a side affect or other complications coming up anew this year in the parts where there had been no special problems until last year - even in the same living condition as last year.

In order to let others know of how diabetes is that makes the body change as seriously as cruel, I use the expression ‘time’ more often than not.
