Benefits of Carrots


Those of us who grew up watching Bugs Bunny cartoons should've paid attention to his eating habits and copied at least one habit - his fondness for carrots!  Carrots are high in beta carotene, carotenoids, Vitamin B2, B6, C, E, K, dietary fiber, potassium, manganese, folate, and phosphorus. 

All these nutrients help protect the body against free radicals, improve heart and dental health, cleanse the liver, strengthen the immune system, nourish the skin, and protect the eyes.
