Disease Diabetes Mellitus (DM) or who is often referred to as diabetes, is one of several metabolic disease prevalence was increasing every year. But actually you can prevent this disease easily.

The second type of DM is the DM that is not dependent on insulin (non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus) due to the relative failure of Langerhans beta cells resulting in insulin resistance (decreased insulin sensitivity).

The exact cause of this disease is unknown but suspected one of them due to obesity (overweight). Diabetes mellitus (DM) which arise as a result of this obesity usually happens in old age or over 40 years.

Perform diagnosis in DM patients is not hard, among other complaints of frequent urination (polyuria), especially at night, often feel thirsty (polydipsi), often felt hungry (polyfagi), body care and our weakness is the way to know if someone is exposed to DM or not. Especially when the blood sugar tests showed that the number exceeds 200 mg / dl, the person is already suffering from DM guaranteed.

Treatment of the DM disease was not arbitrary. Based on the results of laboratory tests of blood sugar, when blood sugar levels close to normal, your doctor will recommend a low-calorie diet first and regular exercise. But if not also decrease blood sugar levels, your doctor will usually give an oral anti-diabetes drugs (OAD).
