As part of a second-year undergraduate research project I am looking for people living in the UK who also use the internet to search for health advice or participate in online support groups (such as this one) to fill in a survey. At the end of the survey you will be asked if you want to be contacted for a forum-based discussion or/and Skype interviews on key issues around this subject, which will occur very soon. You will have much more of a chance to share your opinions and discuss wider issues, including virtual support platforms, and the reasons online support is better, worse, or the same as offline support, by participating in one of these.
