Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepes

These Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepes are simple to make. Thin crepes are filled with sweetened cream cheese and fresh strawberries.

You don’t need to go all the way to France to eat crepes. You can make them at home! They’re pretty easy to make. You don’t need a fancy crepe maker unless you want one (or have one already). A skillet will work just fine. Crepes can be filled with Nutella or sautéed apples or jam or whatever you’d like. I happen to love them filled with this sweetened cream cheese and fresh strawberries!

Ingredients needed:

  • eggs
  • milk
  • all purpose flour
  • vegetable or canola oil
  • salt
  • whipped cream cheese
  • fresh strawberries
  • honey

How to make Strawberry Cream Cheese Crepes:

The complete, printable recipe is at the end of this post.

PREPARE THE CREPES:

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, oil and salt until smooth.

Heat a lightly greased skillet (or crepe maker) over medium-high heat; remove from heat. Spoon in 2 tablespoons of batter; lift and tilt the skillet to spread the batter evenly. Return to heat; cook for 1 or 2 minutes or until browned on one side only. Invert over paper towels; remove the crepe.

Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet occasionally. If the crepes are browning too quickly, reduce the heat to medium. Make a stack of your crepes!

Look how beautiful and perfect they are!

ADD THE FILLING:

Spread the un-browned side of each cooled crepe with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream cheese, and then arrange ¼ cup of sliced fresh strawberries along one side of the crepe. Drizzle the strawberries with 1 teaspoon of honey; roll up from the filled edge.

Make these crepes, and then you can tell everyone that you know how to cook like a French chef! Enjoy!
