Hi Friends!

Here’s my weekly post sharing about what’s going on in the world of RecipeGirl, as well as some fun links to things I’ve come across lately. So here it goes: following are 10 things to share with you this week- everything from recipes to shopping to a few fun articles and more. There are a few affiliate links included here and there. Steak lovers! This one is for you!

  • This Grilled Flank Steak has nice rosemary marinade for the meat.

  • In this recipe for Grilled New York Strip Steak, the steak is coated with a simple, spicy rub before grilling.
  • Here’s a simple steak recipe… add a potato and a vegetable/salad, and you’re all set with an easy, family-friendly dinner:  Pan Fried Lemon Garlic Rib Eye Steaks.
  • This recipe for Filet Mignon with Marsala Caramelized Onions is the best dinner I’ve eaten in a long time!
  • This recipe for Grilled Teriyaki Flank Steak has a nice marinade that turns out a very tender meat.
  • In this Garlic Butter Steak Bites recipe, chunks of buttery seared steak are combined with sautéed bell peppers and garlic.

  • I think this cat umbrella is the cutest umbrella I’ve seen in a long time.
  • These Flared Leggings look so comfortable. I’d get them in black!
  • Are we close to sweater weather yet? This cozy half zip sweater comes in a variety of colors.
  • Here’s a cute back-to-school lunchbox to consider (cheap!) They have a variety of colors and patterns. And this lunchbox is super cute too (also in a variety of patterns).
  • Love this simple ruffle 3/4-sleeve T-shirt for transition to colder weather!
  • I bought these adorable black and white pants, and they fit perfectly.
  • I have these slippers, and they’re so comfy and adorable (in so many patterns).

What I’m watching and reading:

  • Watch (new) The River Wild on Netflix. I enjoyed it!

  • This Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough Bread looks really good!
  • I want some of this Marinated Tomato and Tortellini Salad– yum!
  • Here’s an Old Fashioned Butterscotch Cake. I bet it’s good!

Here’s what’s going on in my life:

  • This week, I have kayaked, hiked, ridden bikes and have gone to Crossfit. I’ve been enjoying the great outdoors!
  • I forgot to mention that we visited the Tillamook factory in Tillamook, Oregon last weekend. We did the creamery ice cream experience- YUM!
  • We currently have four guests staying at our house. Neighbors from Scottsdale came up to visit us, and we’re getting into all kinds of shenanigans together!

  • Krispy Kreme has two new fall doughnuts for the pumpkin spice lover in your life.

Products I’m loving:

  • If you run hot, you might like this fan. It follows me everywhere around the house! And I bought this one for travel (tucks easily into a suitcase).
  • These corner floating shelves are so cool!
  • Look for Sugar Bombs (cherry tomatoes) in your market’s produce section. They are so sweet and delicious!
  • I love this Fall Wreath!
  • Check out the design on this flatware set– pretty!
  • Look for Tillamook’s Campfire Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream. It’s so good!!
  • Black cat lovers will this mug for Halloween season. Cute!
  • Do you have a salad spinner? I couldn’t live without mine!

Bake something unique this week! 

  • The chocolate-nut filling is really delicious in this chocolate-themed baklava.
  • Peanut Butter S’Mores Turnovers are a delicious combination of chocolate, peanut butter and marshmallow in a flaky puff pastry.
  • Make this Classic Eclairs recipe for your next get-together; they’re such a delicious treat!
