Cheese Pav Bhaji | Mumbai Street Style Cheesy Pav Bhaji

Mumbai Street Style Cheese Pav Bhaji Recipe is a simple and tasty Pav Bhaji Recipe cooked the regular way and topped with a lot of cheese. The highlight is the topping of cheese and salted butter over the masala and cheese.

When I decided to make a street food platter from the streets of Mumbai and ended up making only varieties of Pav Bhaji. The other dishes were completely different and maybe that’s what made me end up making different Pav Bhajis that seem to be popular on the streets of Mumbai.

My basic Pav Bhaji recipe is very straightforward using store-bought Pav Bhaji masala with mashed vegetables. I have read and seen so many other ways of making the bhaji, including different vegetables plus or minus. I know the bhaji having beets seem to be the popular street food version. However, I knew it will be tough with my kids not liking beets.

What makes the Mumbai Street Style Cheese Pav Bhaji so delicious?

Well, let me share what actually makes this one so delicious! The salted butter and loads of cheese on top makes it out of the world! Out of the different versions sold on the menu, I shortlisted some of those recipes and this cheese pav bhaji is one of those that had Amul Salted Butter with loads of grated cheese on top.

On the day I planned to make this Mumbai Street Food menu, I also decided I would try some different bhaji recipes. So each of it was done slightly differently and it really made all the difference with the added change each recipe is supposed to have. I had shared a different Pav Bhaji recipe from the basic Pav Bhaji recipe I normally make.
