Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms

  • 1/2 cup chicken liver pate

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Clean and remove stems from mushrooms.
  • In a small mixing bowl, mix the chicken liver pate, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper together.
  • Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture and place on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the stuffed mushrooms.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and filling is crisp and brown on the top.
  • Serve hot as an apetizer or side dish.
