On Sunday, there were 1,074 more SARS-CoV-2 cases in The Czech Republic, at least since 20 September and about 400 less than on the previous Sunday. On Monday until 6 pm, hygienists register another 1406 cases. 


The risk index of the anti-epidemic system PES is at 57, which corresponds to the third level, to which, however, the Czechia should move from the government's decision only on Thursday.

21:18 - In Britain, there have been 205 deaths with covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 58,448, the worst record in Europe. The number of infected people increased by 12,330, which is a slight increase compared to Sunday's 12,155 registered cases.

 

21:05 - Another 406 deaths of patients with covid-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours by France. The total death toll in the country rose to 52,731, Reuters reported. However, the number of infected people slowed to 4,000 new cases per day, while 9,784 positive people were tested on Sunday.

 

20:30 - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković became infected with the coronavirus. Plenković has been in solitary confinement since Saturday, as the infection was confirmed by his wife. Croatia recorded 74 deaths with covid-19 in the last day on Monday, the most since the epidemic began. 1830 new ones were newly infected.

 

20:01 - Turkey will introduce a weekend curfew from Tuesday, on weekdays people will have to stay in their homes at certain hours said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkish health authorities today reported 188 new covid-19-related deaths and 31,219 new confirmed cases of coronavirus.

 

On weekdays, the Turks will have to stay at home between nine o'clock in the evening and five o'clock in the morning, and on Saturday and Sunday they will not be able to go out at all. Erdogan specified that, for example, suppliers and the manufacturing sector would be exempted from the measures.

 

19:06 - Vaccination of all Czechs with a coronavirus vaccine could cost up to five billion crowns if two doses were needed. The vaccine will be purchased by the state thanks to an individual order from the European Union, applications from a doctor and consumed material will be covered by public health insurance. 


This follows from the published bill, which is to enable the payment of vaccinations from public health insurance. Minister of Health Jan Blatný (for YES) said today after the government meeting that the government approved the proposal. It also released another 1.7 billion crowns for vaccines from Janssen Pharmaceutica and Pfizer / BioNTech.


18:16 - During Monday, there were 1406 confirmed cases of Coronavirus Infection in the Czech Republic. That's 435 less than last Monday night. The number of coronavirus-related deaths rose from 135 to 8,273 compared to morning data.

 

16:35 - Vietnam on Monday confirmed the first case of coronavirus transmission in its territory after 89 days. The infection was confirmed in a man who had previously come into contact with an infected steward. In recent weeks, Vietnam has seen an average of five new cases of coronavirus infection per day. But these are passengers from abroad.

 

2:46 PM - Poland reports 5,733 new infections, the smallest daily increase since October 13. In total, almost a million people became infected in Poland. In connection with covid-19, 17,150 people died there.

 

12:01 - The daily increase in Austria has dropped below 3,000. According to the Minister of Health Rudolf Anschober, the number of cases has been declining for several days, but there are still too many newly infected. In Austria, a total of 282,456 people were confirmed, 3184 of whom died.

10:33 - In Slovakia, they recorded 196 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection, performing only 1,063 PCR tests on Sunday. 23 people died. There are 1550 patients in hospitals with confirmed covid-19, of which 116 in the ICU and 125 in pulmonary ventilation. A total of 105,929 people have been tested positive in the country so far, of whom 839 have died.

 

9:24 - In Hungary, 5595 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection were reported, with another 151 infected. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 217,122 people have tested positive in the country, killing 4,823.

 

8:40 - Thailand is searching for two hundred people in the provinces in the north of the country due to the threat of the spread of covid-19. Three women came to Burma illegally and tested positive for coronavirus for several days. 

They met 356 people, including hotel staff and guests, people in the mall, cinema, restaurants and taxis, and minibusses. So far, the pandemic has been managed in Thailand, with a total of 4,000 infected and 60 victims. So far, 150 people have been traced, and none have been infected.

In Burma, they detect an average of 1,500 newly infected a day, with a total of 88,000 infected, of whom 1,887 died.

PES risk scores vary considerably from region to region. In Prague, where it is the lowest, it is 42 points. It is the highest with 69 points in the Hradec Králové region. For the third stage, it must be between 41 and 60 points.

The coronavirus is most widespread in Havlíčkův Brod. In the past seven days, there have been 610 more people infected per 100,000 inhabitants.

 

6:06 - In India, the number of confirmed cases of new coronavirus infection has risen by 38,772 in 24 hours. For 23 days in a row, the number of newly infected has fallen below 50,000. In the country, the infection was confirmed in 9.43 million people, of whom 137,139 died. The number of victims per day increased by 443.

 

6:01 - In Germany, there are 11,169 newly detected cases of SARS-CoV-2 per day. A total of 1,053,859 people became infected in the country, of whom 16,248 died. The death toll rose by 125 in 24 hours.

 

5:55 - Six prisoners lost their lives and another 35 were injured when bachaars in Sri Lanka used firearms to quell the uprising. Two guards are in critical condition. Prisoners in crowded prisons in Sri Lanka are rioting as the number of people infected with covid-19 is rising.

 

5:51 - The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that SARS-CoV-2 has been detected in 13,142,997 people in the United States. Their number increased by 143,333 per day. The number of victims increased by 1,210 to 256,166.

 

5:47 - There are a record 462 people in Japan with a serious course of covid-19. It rose by 22 a day. They recorded a record number of 2,684 new cases and 14 infected victims on Saturday. A total of 146,214 people have been infected in Japan, of whom 2,123 have died.
