PENSIONERS DENIED HAPPY LIVES DECADES AFTER OF HARD WORK BY THE CORONAVIRUS

The deadly pandemic claims another victim, while all activities of the world turned upside-down

The coronavirus is a deadly disease that doesn't discriminate. Like both fresh and dry leaves falling from the tree, it takes away both the young and the old, including pensioners. It is not a hidden fact that the coronavirus has denied many pensioners the chance to live happily, years after hard work.

Among the pensioners killed by the virus are retired doctors and medical personnel that answered the call to save lives during the heavy impact of the virus in many countries.

It really hurts to see these people who have worked for several years, lives come to such a tragic end without the chance to have a happy life years after selfless hard work for the state.

There are fear and panic throughout the world because of conflicting and unconfirmed reports associating with the pandemic.

One time, we hear of the disease is subsiding, another time, you hear the disease has actually increased. Such a situation instills fear in people, believing that the disease is out of control, yet governments are giving assurances of false hope.

Just a few days ago, Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization, had received reports of almost 7 million cases of coronavirus infection in the world and about 400 thousand deaths. Today the global death is over 9 million (9,910,135) and 497,001 deaths.

According to the media, t

he situation of the spread of coronavirus in Europe is improving, but getting worse in other places. This was announced on Monday at a briefing in Geneva by the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Gebreyesus.

The WHO now asking people to avoid social gatherings and to follow other rules but these are not working.

According to the Director-General recalled that within nine of the last 10 days in the world, more than 100 thousand new cases were registered daily.

On Sunday, this number exceeded 136 thousand in one day. “Almost 75% of yesterday’s cases were in 10 states, mainly in America and South Asia,” he said.

Tedros Adan Gebreyesus recalled that most African countries are still experiencing an increase in cases of COVID-19, the coronavirus-induced disease.

"We also see a growing number of cases of COVID-19 in areas of Eastern Europe and Central Asia" said the head of the World Health Organization.

According to him, the main threat in these states is complacency. "We continue to call for active monitoring," he said, stressing that it is necessary to prevent the spread of infection, "especially during mass gatherings of various kinds, which begin to resume in many countries."

The Director-General also reported that the World Health Organization, the medical institution, will track the contacts of coronavirus-infected people with healthy people.

The contact follow-up consultation to share technical and operational experiences, including innovations in digital technology,” he said.

The coronavirus has decimated the world, killing millions of people but not specifying the number of children, adults, babies or pensioners, whose lives have been snuffed from them by the deadly virus.
