Enrolling this Summer is Easier than You Think

If attending beauty school is a dream of yours, there is no better time to turn that dream into a reality. Enrolling in beauty school now is easier than ever.

The first step is to find an accredited beauty school that fits you. Research multiple schools, and schedule campus tours to really get a feel for what you want. At Avalon Institute, we have 5 locations so you can find one that works best for you. We recommend contacting your closest school to request more information.

Next, you should get in touch with our financial aid* department to see if you qualify for any tuition assistance programs, such as federal grants or scholarships. Our financial aid team can help you with this process!

Then, you’ll need to submit your application along with some supporting documents. This includes identification paperwork (social security card, ID, etc.), high school or AA transcript, and the application fee.

Once your application is processed and approved, you can schedule your first day of classes and get started on your way towards your future!

Start Your Future Sooner

Not only is the application process shorter than traditional educational routes, beauty school is also, typically, much shorter. Beauty school can take anywhere from 5 months to 2 years to complete depending on your area and program. This is much shorter compared to the traditional 4 year university.

Once you finish beauty school, you must pass your state’s required exams, but then you’re ready to enter the industry! Other paths can often require years of schooling and applying for jobs.
