In these days of constant changes in response to the Covid-19 pandemic you definitely all need to boost your Mood. Measures in dealing with the situation has taken its toll on many people’s mental health.

Twice as many adults in Britain are reporting symptoms of depression compared with this time last year, according to the Office for National Statistics. This definitely calls for you to boost your mood.


Often the effects on boosting one’s mood lasts long after It’s no wonder why one of the permitted activities in lockdown is exercise.

A recent survey by the Royal Institute of British Architects found that working from home was making people more stressed. Colder weather and darker days call for us all to shift our mind-set to feel more upbeat.

Distractions from what we are currently focused on in the best of times curtails our enjoyment. Little children display this more clearly than adults. My little one strongly complains when I attempt to get her to get to sleep when she is lovingly making a gift or something other past her bedtime. We all need buffers from distractions when we are being most creative.

Focusing on things that foster a regular sense of gratitude. Through previous challenges I kept a vision board. Words on a board I focused on as I passed by them at strategic locations. These helped me keep in mind my goals and expectations.

Creative Writing

I found expressing myself in writing boosts my mood. Start by writing on the things you are grateful about life. By the time you have expanded on them you would notice the difference in your attitude. My little one’s mood improves as I am asked about pencil and paper. There’s a palpable sense of joy and excitement as she expresses herself.

Exercise

I have found exercise to be effective in boosting my mood. While on the mental health system, I attempted to lose weight by registering in a gym. The discipline of gym exercise definitely lifted my mood during the winter nights following work. There’s no way you an exercise an maintain a depressed disposition. Exercise demands focus on the activity at hand. There’s no room for anything else. Often the effects on boosting one’s mood lasts long after It’s no wonder why one of the permitted activities in lockdown is exercise.
