My Personal Vape Moan

Why do vape manufacturers feel the need to constantly change, discontinue, and launch new devices, coils, and accessories? I’ve been vaping for several years now, and the sheer number of vape devices and tanks I’ve bought, only to find they’ve been discontinued, is staggering. It’s almost as if some bright spark at these companies thinks, “How can we make John’s life more complicated today?”

Remember the Vision Spinner? Ah, the Vision Spinner. I loved that battery. It was the perfect middle ground between those tiny pen batteries and the massive brick-sized vape devices. It was reliable, and I could adjust the power with a simple twist of the dial at the base. Guess what happened? Yep, they stopped making it. Why? I’ll never know. It was popular, at least with me. I must have been single-handedly keeping their sales figures up.

After mourning the loss of my beloved Vision Spinner, I moved on to the Innokin Cool Fire 4 Plus iSub G Kit. What a gem that was! The iSub tank was a beauty, and the battery was even better. Just as I was settling in with my new setup, they discontinued it. I started to feel a bit paranoid. Was it just me? Did I have some kind of curse that caused vape companies to kill off every device I loved?

I won’t bore you with the laundry list of other devices I’ve gone through. Let’s just say I’m currently using an Eleaf iStick 30W with an Aspire K3 tank. It’s a brilliant setup, but I wake up every morning in a cold sweat, wondering if today is the day they decide to discontinue these two.

I get it. Technology advances and new stuff comes out. But does it have to happen so fast? Can’t we have a little stability in our vaping lives? To all the vape device manufacturers out there, have a heart. Think of poor old me (and probably many others) before you decide to stop building the vape devices we’ve come to rely on. Give us a break. We just want to vape in peace without the constant fear of obsolescence looming over our heads.
