F and I decided we needed a little break and found ourselves booking a staycation to Cornwall last month.

I spent a third of a decade at University in Devon and yet have never ventured that short skip and a jump south to the Cornish coast.

We chose Falmouth as our base, suitably central to visit neighbouring towns and villages.
