Gen-Earth is an Earth Day event at Nathan Phillips Square on Sunday, April 22nd from 1 – 5 pm.
Gen-Earth is a FREE, not-for-profit, multimedia event featuring Speakers, Musicians, Artists, and Socially Conscious Vendors/Exhibitors, and workshops.
The vision for the event is to educate and inspire our youth, our communities, and our policy-makers to take action for the protection of our ecosystems, our wildlife, the environment, and our Earth!
It’s being organized by Rachel Parent (18-year-old activist, speaker, Founder of Kids Right to Know, and Youth Director of Regeneration International).
Some of the speakers / performers include:
- TVO’s The Water Brothers,
- Eco-living expert Candice Batista
- Fashion Takes Action’s Kelly Drennan
- Greenpeace Canada’s Joanna Kerr
- Music performances by: The Amanda Jackson Trio (CBC Music’s 2018 Searchlight Top 10 Finalists)
