There has been an increase in Concern over the issue of Vaccine safety in the past few years. one major concern is the significant in autoimmune disorders associated with the increased application of Vaccines.
From birth to age 18, today, children will receive between 170 to 225 doses of antigens in roughly 50 doses. Most are given in the first 6 to 7 years of life. Aluminum is one substance that is often used in the form of aluminum salts, such as aluminum hydroxide, aluminum phosphate, and aluminum potassium sulfate. The body does not need and does not handle aluminum very well at all. Aluminum is highly associated with Alzheimers, especially found in increased concentrations in the plaques that form in the brains of those suffering from Alzheimers.
Another frequently used adjuvant is squalene, which is normally in the body but not found in free form. The use of squalene may well be associated with autoimmune disorders of the nervous system such as Multiple Sclerosis. Squalene is added to certain flu vaccines.
While considered to be safe by the vaccine industry and the FDA, any adjuvant should be viewed as a potential for unwarranted and possibly serious lifelong injury.
2) Vaccine dosage is intended to shock the immune system which can cause over-reaction and also make the immune system less sensitive and thereby cause a reduced response to lower levels of infection later in life. The use of these dosages may teach the body to only respond to significant stimulus and may therefore delay the body's response to certain infections that may not have been vaccinated against.
Another concern is that a lesser dosage might actually acclimate the body to a foreign infectious agent and thereby actually reduce the ability of the immune system to respond.
3) Contamination of the vaccines from the sources used in production is another serious issue. The use of animal cells and organs to produce the vaccines can introduce foreign DNA or antibodies as well as foreign virus particles, both of which can cause other issues.
At issue here is that any foreign DNA can increase the body's response to foreign substances. A vaccine produce in cows may have bovine DNA particles in it which can increase the incidence of allergic reaction to beef and beef products. The same is true for vaccines that are produced in chicken eggs, possibly creating an unintended allergic response to eggs and egg products.
There has been instances of the introduction of foreign virus into the body such as the presence of SV-40 which is a monkey virus that was innoculated into many individuals because of the use of monkey kidney cells for producing certain vaccines. SV-40 is known DNA virus which induces primary brain and bone cancers, malignant mesothelioma, and lymphomas in laboratory animals. There is also indication that it is increasing cancer in humans where present.
4) Several preservatives and protectants may be added to prevent the growth of microbes in the vaccine solution. One example is Thimerosal which has now been removed from several vaccines that are available for infants and young children. Sadly, Thimerosal is a mercury based chemical and mercury is rated as being highly toxic, especially for causing neurological damage. While the FDA claims that it is safe, the levels of mercury that are being injected far exceed the levels allowed by the EPA.
This issue of vaccine safety has been increasingly important, especially to the parents of young children but it should also be important to the elderly as the frailties of age and the reduced immune response associated with age are a significant concern.
