JEE Main 2019 Admit Card: 5 Things you must know

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing Jee Main 2019 admit card for the January session on December 17, 2018. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam can download the same from JEE Main’s official website by using their login credentials – Application Number, Password and Captcha (displayed on the screen).  The exam conducting authority will release JEE Main 2019 admit card for the April session on March 18 on the official website.

JEE Main 2019 admit card/hall ticket will have details like Applicant’s Name, Application Number, Roll Number, Father’s Name, Course Name, Date of Birth etc.

Before you download the exam admit card, you should know that the admit card of JEE Main is a mandatory document and candidates who do not have a have the downloaded admit card will not be allowed to appear for JEE Main 2019. Besides being used on the exam day, the admit card will be required during the counselling process as well.

Here are few things you must know about JEE Main admit card 2019:

  1. Besides JEEMain admit card, candidates will also have to carry one of thefollowing documents to exam centre:
  2. One passport size photograph.
  3. Any one of the authorized photo IDs  (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/Passport etc)
  4. PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, ifclaiming the relaxation under PwD category.
  5. JEE Main admit cards will not be sent by post to the candidates. You just have todownload it from the official websites – https://jeemain.nic.in and https://www.nta.ac.in/. 
  6. Aspirants must keep JEE Main hall ticket safely. It should not bemutilated or changed with any entry made therein. Please note that NTA will not issue a duplicateadmit card under any circumstances.  
  7. Candidates are advised to check all the information on theadmit card thoroughly. In case of any discrepancy (such as discrepancy inphotograph and signatures), candidates should immediately contact JEE MainHelpline number between 10 am to 5 pm from December 10, 2018 to December 16,2018. JEE Main helpline numbers are – 7042399520, 7042399521, 7042399525,7042399526. Candidates who are facing issues in downloading the admit cardshould also contact the above mentioned helpline numbers.
  8. NTAwill not issue the admit card to aspirants whose application are foundincomplete due to various reasons. These reasons could be Indistinct ordoubtful photograph, unsigned application or eligibility criteria not beingmet.

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2019 (January) from January 6 to 20, 2019. Paper 1 for BTech is scheduled to be held in online mode on January 9, 10, 11 and 12 while the exam for BArch admissions will be conducted in online (Mathematics and Aptitude) as well offline mode (Drawing) on January 8 in two shifts – from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.JEE Main Result 2019 for the January session will be released by NTA onJanuary 31, 2019. While the results for the April exam will be out on April 30, 2019
