What is Hypnosis?

You may wonder what if feels like to be in Hypnosis.   People describe the experience  as relaxing and meditative.  You may feel heavy, or light, drifting or floating, or feel as if you are sinking down comfortably into the chair.   Your conscious mind may wonder off, but your unconscious takes in all the hypnotic suggestions (more on the unconscious mind later).

Hypnosis is a state you enter into naturally everyday.  If you have ever passed your exit on the freeway, while daydreaming, you were in a state of hypnosis!

People have many questions about the experience:  Will I go into trance?  Can I really be hypnotized?  I have a strong willpower…will it work on me?

Anyone with average intelligence, an imagination, and a willingness to receive positive change, can go into hypnosis.  In fact, all hypnosis is actually self-hypnosis.  Self-hypnosis audio recordings are a wonderful tool for making effective change with deep, lasting results.
