I've been looking at Hair dryers lately, not only for myself, but also as a gift for a good friend. While I have been considering treating us both to a Dyson, the price just seems crazy-pants to me so I have been checking out other options and believe I have found the winner:

One of my big concerns was the weight, but it's a lot of power without the heft, weighing in at just 1.2lbs - that's 30% lighter compared to other AC motor dryers! And of course it looks all sleek and sexy and is a lovely shade of ice-blue - looks great, works great - I'm sold!
