My favourite snacks for flatulence


Seriously, when people talk about losing weight or getting fit and how it makes them hungry, I look at them with horror. That is not right!!! It’s also not sustainable because at some point you’ll get hungry (or hungry) and make poor choices. I know I’m preaching to the LSF choir, but you girls know I care about a healthy lifestyle and #LiveGuiltless… and that means making good, healthy choices. No deprivation!?

I get a lot of questions about how I eat and what I eat, besides all the goodies I share HBMP And Guide to Guilt-Free Eating , I have another favorite snack that I would like to share with you. Chia seeds (and other great snacks) from Mama Chia . Oh. My. GAWD. So good andSoThere are lots of ways to love them too!

It just so happens that today is also National Chia Day! Wow, wow, what another delicious holiday!!!?Coincidentally, we celebrate it in one tooBig wayhere at SPF + Mamma Chia… but first.

What is Chia? why meIt?

These tiny seeds are packed with amazing nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, fiber, iron and calcium! These omega-3 fatty acids help increase “good” cholesterol, which helps protect against heart attack and stroke. They even contain a whopping 5.6 grams of protein in each 1-ounce serving! Of course I love regular chia seeds, but my latest love affair is with Mamma Chia granola clusters. It adds the perfect little sweet crunch to Greek yogurt. I love garnishing with some Greek yogurt rind and fresh blueberries after dinner for a healthy option for dessert. Yummy…

RECIPE: MY FAVORITE SACKETS TO KEEP BULS AWAY

Ingredients

Blueberry Crunch Yogurt Bark

  • 1 cup 0% fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp monk fruit
  • 1 cup mom chia Granola clusters
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries

Blue Magic Chia Pudding

  • 1/2 cup Mamma Chia chia seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Blue Majik
  • 2 cups almond milk (or filtered water)
  • Monk fruit to taste

Chia jam

  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1 TBSP. lemon juice
  • 1½ – 2 tbsp. Honey
  • 2 TBSP. Mamma Chia chia seeds
