The Truth About Filtered Water: Is It Really Good for Your Health?

Most people believe that Filtered water is very good for Human Health, but the reality is quite the opposite. Generally, "filtered water" is referred to as "purified water." It is not actually good for human health because it is so clean and transparent that it is used for industrial purposes like cleaning semiconductor conductors, manufacturing pharmaceuticals, and cooling in power plants.

Health experts say that if someone wants to drink filtered water, they should make sure that one liter of water contains a total dissolved solids (TDS) of 200 to 250 milligrams, which should include all essential minerals such as calcium and magnesium.

Health experts also revealed that Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters not only remove impurities from water but also eliminate beneficial minerals. Many countries around the world have reported complaints such as fatigue, body pain, and weakened memory due to drinking filtered water. So much so that the World Health Organization (WHO) has also warned against the use of Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters.

As per guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), the optimal composition of minerals in one liter of water includes 30 milligrams of calcium, 30 milligrams of bicarbonate, and 20 milligrams of magnesium. These minerals are deemed beneficial for human health and play essential roles in hydration, bone strength, blood pressure regulation, and overall well-being. Therefore, it is better to boil water for 20 minutes and strain it with a fine cloth rather than drinking filtered water through Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters. This way, the minerals present in the water will not be lost, which are beneficial for human health.
