You have heard of Ed O’Brien and his wife Susan Kobrin, but what more do you about their children Salvador O’Brien and Oona O’Brien? How they names came about and what they are up to now?

In this blog post, I will share some updates on the children of Susan Kobrin, the former Amnesty International employee and the wife of Ed O’Brien, the guitarist, and songwriter of Radiohead.

Susan and Ed have been blessed with a son and a daughter, who was born in 2004 and 2006 respectively named Salvador O’Brien, and a daughter named Oona O’Brien.

Salvador was born in January 2004 in London, England. He is named after Salvador Dali, one of Ed’s favorite artists.
Salvador shares his father’s passion for music and plays the guitar and drums. He also enjoys surfing and skateboarding.

Oona was born in 2006 in Oxfordshire, England. She is also named after Oona O’Neill, the late wife of Charlie Chaplin.
Oona is interested in art and photography and likes to draw and take pictures of nature. As an animal lover, Oona’s favorite thing for a hobby is visiting zoos and so she has a pet dog named Luna.

What Are Salvador and Oona O’Brien Up To?

– Their son is a talented musician who plays the guitar and sings. He is also an athlete but keeps a low profile out of the public eye, unlike his younger sister. 

He has performed with his father on several occasions, including at the Glastonbury Festival in 2017 and at the Ear Opener online video education for kids in 2020. A photo of him with an athletic medal and a laurel shows his interest in sports. 

– Their daughter is a creative artist and athlete who is into modeling,  karate, and arts.

O’Brien is currently a student combining acting with karate and arts. She is featured on the Netflix Cobra Kai series: an American martial arts comedy-drama as Devon. She is a very active karate artist which gives her the stage to preach against Asian hate. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she regularly partake in social justice and human rights activities. She volunteers at a local charity that helps refugees and asylum seekers.

Susan and Ed are very proud of their children and their achievements. They have raised them to be independent, curious, and compassionate individuals who pursue their dreams and make a positive difference in the world.
