Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has begun the registration process for open round seat Allocation for Bsc Paramedical Courses for session 2023. The detailed schedule has been released.

The registration & exercising of choices (AIIMS) open round can be carried out till 09.10.2023 (05.00 PM). On 11.10.2023, the result will be announced. The online acceptance of allocation/deposit original document and joining can be done from 12.10.2023 to 14.10.2023(05:00 PM).

Process of counseling –

Step 1 -

The link for the portal will be activated for eligible candidates on “MyPage,” accessible by logging in using the credentials that have been used for filling out the Final Registration form and other processes related to the AIIMS BSc Paramedical Entrance Examination for session-2023 in the official website of AIIMS.

On clicking the link, the eligible candidates will be directed to the online BSc Paramedical seat allocation portal, where the candidates will have to register for online seat allocation and set a new password. This password is only to access the online BSc Paramedical Seat Allocation portal.

Once registered, the candidate will be able to log in to the online BSc Paramedical courses seat allocation portal and begin the process of making choices (AIIMS) and ordering the choices. The online BSc Paramedical courses Seat Allocation portal will remain open for the date and time mentioned above.

On logging in, the candidates need to confirm their name and candidate ID. Click on the Make Choice button to proceed to exercise choices (AIIMS) & subject and their order and submit. The candidates are required to deposit the amount of Rs. 5000. for BSc Paramedical courses through electronic mode as a security deposit on a link available at candidate MyPage.

The candidate can view the choices submitted and locked by them by clicking on the View choices button after logging in to the online BSc Paramedical courses seat allocation portal. Click the Print button to take a printout.

Step 2 –

The candidates are required to deposit the amount of Rs. 5000 through electronic fund transfer mode on the link available there. The AIIMS will verify the documents of the candidates at the time of reporting. OBC/EWS Certificate issued by the competent authority for central Govt. Jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. OBC certificate must be in the Central Govt. Format as prescribed in the prospectus. Certificate for Persons with Benchmark Disability issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board as mentioned in the prospectus.

Step 3 -

Only candidates who have registered as in step 1 and deposited Rs. 5000 security deposit as in step 2 will be eligible for seat allocation in the open round. On the basis of choices exercised by the candidate, the result of the open round of seat allocation will be declared.

Step 4 -

The candidates will be mandatorily required to accept the allocated seat in an open round of online seat allocation and report to deposit Original Documents and join the allotted AIIMS on dates as specified above. Candidates who fail to report/join the allotted AIIMS will be liable to pay a penalty of Rs. 25000, and the security deposit of these candidates will not be refunded.

Details issued –

The vacant seat position will be uploaded on the website in due course of time. However, the number of seats may change at the time of online seat allocation.

The allocation of seats will be made strictly as per the rank/merit of candidates in the entrance examination, and the rest of the terms and conditions/ eligibility, as mentioned in the prospectus for Session 2023, remain the same.

Those candidates who are found not eligible for OBC/EWS seat on the basis of verification of respective certificates shall be treated as UR if their rank is within the cut-off rank for UR merit list or will not be considered to be in this list of rank is beyond the cut-off rank for UR Merit list. Seat allocation for the first UR seat allocation will be done, and after UR seat allocation is over, EWS seat allocation will be done, followed by OBC/SC/ST seat allocation.

If any EWS seat remains vacant after seat allocation for EWS seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to the UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit. If any OBC seat remains vacant after seat allocation for OBC seat, all vacant seats will be transferred to the UR category and will be offered to UR candidates on merit.

In the case of SC/ST seat allocation, if any SC seats(s) remain vacant, these will be transferred to ST and vice versa. All SC/ST seats that remain vacant after such transfers will also be transferred to the UR Category and will be offered to UR candidates strictly on merit.

AIIMS has further announced that the claim to the allocated seat by the candidate is subject to mandatory reporting & joining at the respective Institute by 14.10.2023 up to 5.00 PM and verification of the original documents for eligibility as applicable, as well as identity verification of the candidature.

The candidate who was allotted a seat will be required to produce the following original certificates -

1. Admit Card issued by AIIMS

2. Open round Registration Slip

3. Offer Letter

4. Seat allocation letter

5. Certificate from the Board showing her date of birth. (10th Passing Certificate)

6. Certificate in proof of passing the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination/Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board.

7. Mark sheet of the qualifying examination, i.e., 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science or any equivalent examination Certificate in proof of having secured 50% or more marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

8. Migration Certificate

The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable -

SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificate (issued by the Competent Authority and should be in English or Hindi in language. The community should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. OBC/EWS certificate should be same as uploaded at the time of Open round Registration, AIIMS, New Delhi within due dates.

The competent Authority for the Central Govt should issue an OBC/EWS certificate. Jobs/for admission in Central Govt. College/Institute. The sub-caste should tally with the central List of OBC. OBC Certificate must be in the Central Govt. format as prescribed in the prospectus. OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer.

The validity of OBC/EWS certificates is as follows -
