Peggy Ovire Arrests Man for Stealing Generator Parts, Others on Movie Set, Video Sparks Reactions (See details)

Nollywood actress, Peggy Ovire, has arrested a man known as Chizoba, who is a crew member on her production set, for allegedly stealing gas cylinders and other valuables.

The better half of Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard, took to her Instagram page to share a video of the alleged thief, who had been stealing from people.

She narrated how she met him in one of her productions. However, immediately after they finished production, Chizoba stole Generator Parts worth N80,000 but sold them for a meagre N15,000.

He returned a few weeks later to steal a gas cylinder but unfortunately met his doom and he was caught while trying to run away.

“Dear filmmakers, this post is for you all never to employ this guy called Chizoba. I met him on a production set. After we had finished shooting, the guy came back, made sure neighbours had gone to work during the day and stole generator parts, which were worth N80,000, but sold them for N15,000.

“He later came back on Saturday and pretended like he was helping someone to refill a gas cylinder but stole the gas cylinder. All the neighbours became alert after the second incident.

“He went again for the third time on Monday morning, while someone else was cooking. They noticed, all of a sudden, that the gas cooker wasn’t working anymore, by the time they rushed out, they realised that their gas cylinder had disappeared.

“They alerted the security and Chizoba was caught. I was in the gym when I was informed that they caught someone who said he came for production.

“They revealed that Chizoba claimed to be a movie maker but had been stealing from them. That guy had earlier begged me for money while we were producing and I gave him out of kindness despite the fact that I had never met him before.

“It’s obvious, this guy is a serial thief.

“See you in court,” she wrote.
